La Brasserie du Barbu is a local craft brewery located in Danjoutin, in eastern France. I worked on this project as part of my exam, with the objective of developing a complete visual identity for the brand while preserving the logo the client had been using previously.

The main challenge was to modernize the brand while maintaining visual continuity with the existing logo, which the client was attached to. The identity also needed to reflect the brewery’s artisanal production and eco-responsible values.
Rather than redesigning the logo from scratch, I chose to preserve its overall structure while simplifying its shapes and refining the lines. I also introduced a subtle ink-bleed effect to reinforce the handcrafted and printed aesthetic.

The broader visual identity was built around textures and materials inspired by craft paper and traditional printing techniques. This direction helped communicate the brewery’s authentic and environmentally conscious positioning.

To extend the identity beyond static branding, I imagined a user-generated content (UGC) campaign supported by AI tools such as Nano Banana and Veo3. I first created a persona and a moodboard to define the visual direction, then generated lifestyle images featuring this persona interacting with the brand. Some of these visuals were later animated to create short promotional content.
The result is a cohesive visual identity that respects the brand’s original logo while strengthening its craft and eco-friendly image, supported by a modern digital campaign concept.
