Le 19, Crac magazine
This project was an exercise created to help me learn how to design magazines and work with InDesign. The goal was to create a magazine cover and a spread for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Montbéliard - Le 19, Crac.
To achieve the final result, I started by analyzing existing magazines, identifying their essential and optional elements, and choosing a theme for my creation.
I decided to use the magazine to inform readers about current exhibitions and included a bonus interview with one of the featured artists. All the content was generated by AI, as the goal of the exercise was to learn the principles of magazine design, not creative writing.

I drew inspiration from the visual identity of Le 19, Crac’s website to ensure consistency between the two. All the images were processed in an orange duotone style, and the layout is clean and geometric.
For the cover, I used Photoshop, while InDesign was used to create the layout of the spread featuring a fictional interview with Marie Lorenz.

This project deepened my understanding of print design, an area I was excited to explore further. It turned out to be more challenging than I anticipated, as print design is significantly different from web design. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the final result and look forward to working on similar projects in the future.
