For a UX class exercise, I made a prototype for Proyekt, a project management app designed to support efficient and organized workflows.

We started by familiarising ourselves with the target audience to get to know their problems, goals and needs. For me, the user persona was a 40-year-old chef from Besançon.

I continued with researching existing platforms – such as Trello – to gain insights into how users interact with similar tools and identify common user needs.

I moved on to imagining my own platform by using Six to One method to research different ideas and get and decide the layout of the homepage.

With this foundational knowledge, I moved on to create a unique visual identity. I selected a palette of blue tones to convey professionalism and business focus, complemented by a bright yellow accent for contrast and visual appeal. This combination enhanced the brand’s professional yet approachable feel.

Once the visual identity was established, I designed the app’s initial prototype and conducted user tests to gather feedback on functionality and user experience. Based on these insights, I refined the prototype to better meet user expectations, resulting in an intuitive and polished final design.

This exercise sharpened my skills in user-centered design, from research to testing, and deepened my understanding of effective UX strategies in the project management domain.
